Registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria in 2001 [RC13795], the Centre for Communication and Social Impact (CCSI) is a national Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) headquartered in Abuja, with footprints in over 30 states across the six geo-political zones of Nigeria. CCSI specializes in Social Behaviour Change Communication providing overarching communication expertise for research and communication strategy design to support effective implementation, monitoring and documentation. Our vision at CCSI is to be the center of excellence in strategic communications in Africa and we are driven by values of integrity, passion, caring, innovation and excellence. With a focus on the central role of strategic communication to impact behaviors, build brands, and provide technical leadership in health and social development, CCSI applies the requisite science and art, demonstrating mastery in this field. Over the years, CCSI has utilized participatory client-oriented methodologies in designing and implementing evidence-driven campaigns, whose successful model testing has led to their scale up and adoption. With its long-standing reputation and requisite expertise, CCSI has left indelible footprints in the communications landscape in Nigeria. CCSI operated under the name Center for Communication Programs Nigeria (CCPN), having been birthed by the renowned Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs. In 2018, after an exciting 10 years of operations in Nigeria and other African countries, CCPN transitioned to its new name CCSI.
