Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) is an international development organization with a vision for a fair world for everyone and mission to create lasting change through volunteering. VSO delivers development impact through a blended volunteer model consisting of international, national, and community volunteers working together to develop the systems and conditions for positive social change. Across all our programmes we focus on building communities that are resilient, inclusive and accountable, through our core approaches of social inclusion and gender, resilience, and social accountability. VSO’s global health strategy seeks to achieve health and wellbeing for all adolescents, through empowering young people as ‘primary actors’ and active citizens driving movements for change in their own countries. VSO health programmes work with those most excluded from their health rights: women, youth, adolescents, LGBTQIA+, people with disabilities, refugees and prison populations. Over the past five years we have helped over 3,600,000 people access better healthcare.
