Technical Expert Groups
Technical Expert Groups (TEG) are comprised of family planning experts who serve as ongoing contributors to the HIP partnership. TEGs lead thorough updates to existing HIP briefs or may spearhead the development of new HIP briefs. TEG vacancies are announced when there is a need to form a new TEG for an upcoming HIP brief update, or when there is a need to replace outgoing members of an established TEG. Following an open application process, technical experts are selected by the HIP co-sponsors (USAID, UNFPA, WHO, IPPF, FP2030, BMGF, CIFF, and Packard) based on their technical expertise, qualifications, and relevant experience. Experts serve for at least two years and are sponsored by their organization.
